Tom Landers, combines his deep understanding of how SaaS solutions and services can bring efficiency and cost savings to any business to create Nau Media’s LocaleIQ™, purpose-built for location-centric industries. Landers brings over 20 years of experience working in high tech in Silicon Valley, with both well established and start-up companies. He has worked with a variety of startup to Fortune 100 companies, building custom products, affiliate programs, partner and VAR solutions for both the domestic and international markets. Prior to Nau Media, Landers has served in various leadership, development and product roles with companies including Quantum, Realnames, McAfee (Acquired by Intel), Dealix Corporation (acquired by ADP).
Mountain biker, camper, hiker, gear junkie, want-to-be sports climber and skier, and mother of outdoor-minded kids, Tracy Newhart is the Co-founder and Director of Worldwide Partners at Nau Media. Tracy brings Nau Media a passion for making customers and partners successful and enthusiastic contributors to our joint success. Her 25 years of Silicon Valley experience in developing solutions, programs, tools, policies, procedures and support systems to help make partners more productive and profitable at companies such as Akamai, McAfee, PayPal and Citrix, influences all aspects of Nau Media’s vision and solutions.
Alex Dale, GISP is a certified GIS professional with 10 years of experience in GIS-GPS mapping equipment and software, environmental mapping, data acquisition and management. Alex has served as a GIS Analyst on numerous environmental remediation projects and has considerable experience working with government agencies including the Army Corp of Engineers (USACE), Air Force (USAF), Postal Service (USPS), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the National Park Service (NPS) among others. Alex’s experience also includes work as the GIS Analyst for planning and developing of clearance areas and UXO removal operations, compiling mapping data, performing GIS-GPS data QAQC, analyzing and compiling field data, and provided an all-encompassing geodatabase deliverable. In addition to all of that, Alex is a fun guy and great promoter of LocaleIQ. Interns – We are continuing to work with a number of fantastic interns from Kaiser High School are working with us on the Honolulu Zoo Society project.
Mark White is a founding partner of White Summers Caffee & James LLP (formerly White & Lee), and leads the firm’s international practice. Mark represents emerging growth, mid-stage and mezzanine stage companies and investment funds on all matters relating to the formation, financing, growth and liquidity of technology-based enterprises. Over the span of 20 years Mark has represented companies in well over 500+ financings and over 200+ acquisitions. He represents and advises companies on a wide variety of transactional matters, including business and legal issues as they pertain to complex strategic and venture financings, acquisitions, and licensing and distribution arrangements. Mark’s practice principally covers corporate, technology, financing and corporate partnering matters for a wide variety of private and public company clients. He regularly advises companies on strategic positioning, business model and revenue generation issues, the preparation of investment materials and presentations, and the structure of complex corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, divestitures, consolidations and commercial partnerships. Mark also represents investment funds on formation issues and regularly represents investors in making portfolio investments.
Ruth Coleman currently serves as Executive Director of The Relationship Coffee Institute, a non-profit public benefit corporation committed to increasing the social and economic opportunity for smallholder commodity farmers and their families. She is responsible for overseeing the organization’s operations, primarily in Rwanda, and managing strategic relationships. Previously, she worked with California State Parks, the California Legislative Analyst office, and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Swaziland, Africa. She is a graduate of Occidental College and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
Diarmuid joined Tesla in 2006, and currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development in which capacity he manages commercial relationships and all aspects of government affairs. Before joining Tesla, Diarmuid served as Chief of Staff for Political Military Affairs at the US State Department, where he was involved in policy and operational support to the U.S military in various theaters of operation. Before his tenure in Washington, Diarmuid worked in corporate strategy as a management consultant for Accenture, as a founder of educational software developer, Real Time Learning, and as a senior executive with both McCann Erickson Worldwide and Young and Rubicam. Over the course of his career, he has managed international operations, projects and marketing for such brands as Coca Cola, Gillette, and AT&T, among others. Diarmuid has earned a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College, a master's degree in Foreign Policy from the University of Virginia, and an MBA from Kellogg. He lives with his wife and two children in the Bay Area and escapes to the mountains whenever possible.
